Richmond Reimagined

Last week we had the privilege of presenting the next, larger phase of the Richmond Reimagined project to our tenants.

It was a fantastic opportunity not only to share images of our future vision, but also to thank our tenants for standing with us through what has been a challenging period. Their resilience and partnership have been remarkable.

We were thrilled to see the excitement and optimism among our tenants about what lies ahead. This investment isn’t just about new buildings, it’s about unlocking opportunities for the many businesses that call Richmond home. Our goal is that the project benefits not only our tenants at Richmond Mall, but also those along Queen Street and across the wider Tasman region, as we work to bring new and exciting brands to our amazing community.

As we begin sharing this vision more widely, we’ve received both encouragement and constructive criticism. That’s natural and understandable, given the central role Richmond Mall plays in our community. We respect and appreciate these perspectives, and we remain committed to listening and improving.

While not everything said on social media reflects the full story, what matters most is that we stay open, transparent, and focused on building a place that serves our community better.

Ultimately, this project is about transforming our town centre into a vibrant, welcoming destination where tenants, shoppers, and the wider Nelson Tasman community can thrive.
